Get Glowing and Sign Up For The Cuke Patch 5k Glow Run

Friday night and we’re feeling alright! That is the vibe you can expect this year on Friday, April 12th. Downtown Mount Olive will be buzzing with energy and excitement as we head into the festival events. One of the most looked forward to parts that really kicks things off is the Cuke Patch 5K Glow Run!

Run Details

The Cuke Patch 5K is your chance to GLOW as you run in the dark and prepare for a long, fun day of eating as many pickles as your heart desires! Groups of families and friends are invited to run or walk the route and you can even take advantage of group discounts. The glow run will wind through the picturesque downtown neighborhoods and in the vicinity of Westbrook Park in Downtown Mount Olive. Costumes are encouraged, so break out your neon and get ready to glow bright! Come early to enjoy washable neon paint as well. Prizes are awarded for best costumes with awards presented to the best male and female costume and best group costume. An important thing to note: the run is NOT a timed event.

Check in opens on April 12th at 7:30 p.m. and the run will start at 8:00 p.m. near the intersection of John and Center Streets. Runners can follow the signs to enter the downtown area via John Street.
