Where to park?
The Pickle Festival will have a free shuttle running from 9 a.m. to 6:30 all day! Parking (some free, some paid) with free shuttle service will be available at the following locations:

  • Roberts Machine & Supply, 111 NC 55 West
  • University of Mount Olive, 634 Henderson Street (watch for signs)
  • Scout Troop 34, former Boling Furniture location, 311 Northeast Church Road

The shuttles are provided through a partnership with Wayne County Public Schools and are sponsored by the N.C. Education Lottery!

We have expanded our handicapped parking. Watch for signs off Breazeale Avenue for access to these handicapped parking areas downtown:

111 N. Chestnut Street (the offices of the Original Free Will Baptist denomination)
202 N. Chestnut Street (First Baptist Church)

If you park on a downtown street, note that parking is allowed on one side of the street only, all over town. Towing will be enforced to ensure access for emergency vehicles for the festival and Mount Olive residents. Please do not block private driveways or access to businesses that are open!

Some paid parking lots are also available downtown.

May I bring my dog?
To ensure the well-being and safety of your furry friends, pets will not be permitted at the North Carolina Pickle Festival, with the exception of service animals. The bustling crowds and heat of the asphalt pose risks to our beloved animals. We kindly ask that you leave your pets comfortably at home. Thank you for helping us keep all members of our pickle-loving community, two-legged and four-legged, safe and happy!

Are ATMs available?
Two downtown banks – United Bank, at 213 N. Chestnut Street, and Wells Fargo, at NE Center Street – have ATM machines, and a Cash Points machine is located near 114 E. James Street.

The N.C. Pickle Festival also will have two cash machines available, one in the vicinity of the carnival rides, at the corner of Main and Chestnut, and the other in front of the Chamber office at 123 N. Center Street.

All of these locations will be walk up only on the day of the festival.
