Frequently Asked Questions

What do I need to know about festival parking?
Park at the University of Mount Olive’s Kornegay Arena - 634 Henderson Street - and catch the free shuttle to the festival’s official Welcome Center at R&R Brewing.

Handicapped Only Parking is available at 111 N. Chestnut Street (the offices of the Original Free Will Baptist denomination).

If you park on a downtown street, pay attention to the no parking signs! Parking is allowed on one side of the street only. Towing will be enforced. Note that several paid parking lots are also available downtown.

May I bring my dog?
We generally recommend that festival-goers leave their animals at home. The festival is located in a downtown setting, with streets and sidewalks and not much in the way of open or green space.

Are ATMs available?
Two downtown banks – First South, at 213 N. Chestnut Street, and Wells Fargo, at NE Center Street – have ATM machines, and the N.C. Pickle Festival also will have one available in the vicinity of the carnival rides, at the corner of Main and Chestnut.

Where can I stay overnight?
Mount Olive’s Sleep Inn and Suites, 919-658-1002. Other nearby lodging is available in Goldsboro, approximately 15 miles away. For details, go to www.visitgoldsboronc.com
