Get ready for a spectacle like no other at this year’s NC Pickle Festival Mascot Race! This hilariously heartwarming event will feature our beloved mascots, alongside a cast of other fun and quirky characters, racing to the finish line.

Operation Pickle Adventures: Pickleball, Cuke Patch 5K, and Tour de Pickle

For those with a competitive streak and a love for sports, the NC Pickle Festival has you covered with an array of pickle-themed sporting events.

First up is the NCPF Pickleball Tournament, a fast-paced, fun-filled event that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis. This tournament is open to players of all skill levels, from beginners to seasoned pros, making it a perfect blend of competition and fun.

Lace up your running shoes and light up the night with the Cuke Patch 5K Glow Run! This unique evening run (or walk) takes you on a luminous journey through the scenic routes surrounding the festival. It’s an exciting way to stay active, bask in the outdoors under the starry sky, and soak in the festival fun. Join us Friday, April 26th for this radiant adventure and light up the night in your own glowing style!

And for the cycling enthusiasts, the Tour de Pickle is a must-participate event! This festival favorite offers three routes through scenic Wayne, Duplin and Sampson counties. So gear up, choose your route, and pedal through some of the most picturesque settings the region has to offer!

Dr. Dill: The Costume Contest

Step right up, agents of all ages, to Ollie’s Costume Contest, a highlight event at the North Carolina Pickle Festival! At 1:30 PM on the Main Stage, join us without the need for pre-registration to showcase your most inventive and pickle-inspired costumes.

Our beloved Mt. Olive Pickle mascot, Ollie Q. Cumber, will be on the lookout to award prizes for four distinct categories:

• The Big Dill (Best Overall) – The grand prize for the most impressive costume goes here. Winners will bag a coveted NCPF t-shirt, hat, and a delectable Mt. Olive Pickle gift pack.

• Pair of Pickles (Best Couple) – Dynamic duos get ready! The winning couple will snag a Mt. Olive gift pack and a gift certificate to spend at the Mt. Olive Pickle Merchandise Booth that very day.
